What's New for 2022?
Starting this year, the Sync 4 infotainment system is available for the Ford F-250. It runs on a 12-inch touchscreen and includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability. There is a new Lariat appearance package that you can consider, and it includes a color-matched grille and black running boards.
Performance & Technology
There are three powertrain options for the 2022 Ford F-250. First on the list is a 6.2L V8 that creates 385-horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. You can upgrade to a 7.3L V8 engine instead, which increases the output to 430-horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. The final option for your commutes around Chattanooga, TN is a turbo 6.7L diesel V8 that makes 475-horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Both the available engines pair with a ten-speed automatic transmission.
The XL trim level of the Ford F-250 comes with a USB-C port and Bluetooth. Starting with the XLT, the truck gains an 8-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration. The Lariat is the first option on the list to get the newly available 12-inch touchscreen, and it also gains connected navigation and a premium sound system featuring ten speakers. Starting with the King Ranch, there is also wireless device charging.
