With the Ford Courtesy Transportation Program (FCTP), service departments can let customers borrow one of the latest models while they wait for repairs. After FCTP vehicles reach a mileage limit, they become available for sale. Then, dealers receive payments from Ford for the miles placed on the cars. The amounts depend on the models. FCTP vehicles have Ford warranty coverage and other factory incentives. Like new Fords, they include a 42-month or 42,000-mile Ford Protect Premium CARE Service Plan. Additional rebates may be available, and you can finance or lease an FCTP vehicle like you would with another new or used Ford. These cars are regularly maintained and inspected, and they often sell for affordable prices.

That way, you can make sure that the ride you want is in great condition. Demo vehicles also have warranties that protect drivers from many unexpected issues. New Fords cover repairs or replacements for many types of factory defects. They include:
• Three years or 36,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage
• A five-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty
• Five years or 100,000 miles of diesel engine coverage
• A five-year corrosion warranty
• A five-year or 60,000-mile safety restraint warranty
• An eight-year or 80,000-mile emissions defect warranty
• Eight years or 80,000 miles of unique component coverage for hybrid and electric vehicles
These warranties are still active for demo vehicles as well. You can also purchase a premium extended warranty that covers more than 1,000 vehicle components. It pays for many repairs or replacements needed for normal wear and tear.
