Trim Levels
The 2025 Ford F-150 offers buyers several models with advanced towing and technology features and is available in multiple trim levels with different features:
Ford F-150 XL and SXT
The XL and SXT are the lineup's base lower levels and feature a 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost engine, a 12-inch screen, 20-inch dark gray machined aluminum wheels, and a 5.0-liter V8.
Ford F-150 XLT
The XLT trim level ups the ante with a 360-degree camera, pro-trailer hitch and backup assist, Ford Co-Pilot360, and chrome bumpers.
Ford F-150 TREMOR
The TREMOR trim level adds Trail Control with Trail Turn Assist and Trail 1-Pedal Drive. It also has 18-inch Dark Matte finish alloy wheels, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and selectable drive modes.
Ford F-150 LARIAT
The LARIAT trim level raises the bar with cruise control, a black appearance package, a head-up display, and a 12-inch LCD with enhanced voice recognition.
Ford F-150 King Ranch
The F-150 King Ranch boasts a tow-haul package, Ford Blue Cruise, a head-up display, and ventilated leather front bucket seats. The Bang & Olufsen sound system includes 14 speakers, including a subwoofer, for the six passengers.
Ford F-150 Platinum
The Platinum trim level features a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 as standard and the PowerBoost hybrid V6 as an optional powertrain. Also available are the Bang & Olufsen, LE Projector lights, Action Motion leather seats, and gloss black wheels.
Ford F-150 Raptor
The top-of-the-line F-150 Raptor is ready to go off-road thanks to its 3.5-liter EcoBoost High Output engine, while the optional 5.2-liter Supercharged V8 is only available for the Raptor R model. It also features heavy-duty skid plates, sport-tuned shock absorbers, 37-inch all-terrain tires, and Ford Trail Control. Furthermore, the Raptor features a 4x4 drivetrain system with a Hi-Lock Transfer Case.
Exterior
The new Ford F-150 stands out in the exterior design category. It offers cargo beds of different sizes to meet the needs of modern drivers and workers. The back of the F-150 provides easy access via a pro-access tailgate that ensures easy loading and offloading of material.
Interior
At the center of the cabin is a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen system that provides entertainment on the go. A heads-up display system displays the F-150's speed and essential information on the windscreen. This ensures the driver has real-time vehicle information without constantly looking down at the gauges. Lower trims feature cloth upholstery, while higher trims boast heated and ventilated leather seats.
Performance
The new Ford F-150 has robust and potent engines. The standard is a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine with 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. A 5.0-liter engine that generates 410 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the Platinum trim has a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine that produces 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.
A 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor generates 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. The Raptor R has a 5.2-liter V8 engine that produces 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. The new F-150 tows 14,000 pounds and carries a payload of 3,250 pounds.
Safety Features
The new F-150 has multiple safety features under the Ford Co-Pilot360. Forward collision warning collaborates with emergency braking, which applies automatically when the truck detects an impending accident with pedestrians or cyclists. Another feature that makes highway driving easy is the lane change assist and warning, which helps the driver center on their lane.
