Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium vs Select

Select
Premium
At Mtn. View Ford, we meet many shoppers who are already in love with the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Their final decision often comes down to two trims: Select and Premium. Each packs a serious electric punch but caters to different priorities.

Below, we break down pricing, performance, features, and daily comfort so you can drive away with the trim that feels made for you.

Pricing & Value
The numbers set the stage for any purchase.
  • Select: starts around $37,995.
  • Premium: starts around $41,995.
Local incentives and dealer-installed equipment can nudge those figures up or down. The $4,000 gap buys heated front seats, memory settings, a premium sound system, and richer cabin finishes. Both trims may qualify for up to a $3,750 federal clean-vehicle credit, depending on current IRS rules.

If you want every dollar to stretch, Select delivers a well-equipped entry point. Premium asks for a little more cash yet returns a longer list of comforts that many drivers use every day. Call our sales team at 888-692-4110 to discuss savings opportunities.
Performance & Range

Select comes standard with rear-wheel drive and a 73-kWh battery. That setup sends 264 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque to the back axle. Add the available dual-motor system and output climbs to 325 horsepower and 500 lb-ft. EPA range lands at 260 miles for RWD or 240 miles for eAWD, with an optional extended-range pack pushing eAWD to 300 miles.

Premium mirrors those figures, then widens the gap with its own extended-range option for rear-drive models. A 320-mile rating gives long-distance commuters extra breathing room.

Acceleration times stay quick in either trim, yet the extra battery capacity in Premium shortens charging stops on road trips because fewer sessions are needed.

Interior Features & Comfort

Select surrounds you with smooth ActiveX seats, dual-zone climate control, and the hallmark 15.5-inch touchscreen. It feels modern and roomy.

Premium turns up the comfort with perforated, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and multi-color ambient lighting that lets you dial in the cabin mood. A power liftgate replaces the manual unit found in Select, and thicker acoustic glass hushes wind noise.

If you spend long hours behind the wheel, those added touches transform the ride from good to great.

Tech & Safety Features

Every Mach-E ships with SYNC 4A, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Ford Co-Pilot360, and a 90-day BlueCruise trial that lets you sample hands-free highway driving. Premium raises the bar with a 10-speaker B&O sound system, memory driver's seat, and a 360-degree camera for confident parking.

You can extend BlueCruise service on either trim, but Premium buyers can bundle it with a longer plan at signing. Optional packages, such as Comfort Package Lite for Select or the sporty Sport Appearance Package for Premium, let you fine-tune the tech mix even further.

Which One Should You Choose?

Pick the Select if your main goals are sharp styling, strong range, and a friendly price. It covers daily commuting and weekend getaways while keeping your budget in check. Choose the Premium if you crave ventilated seats, concert-grade audio, and the quiet cabin touches that make every mile feel special.

We invite you to test-drive both at Mtn. View Ford in Chattanooga. Slide behind each wheel, tap through the screens, and let the drive tell you which Mach-E belongs in your driveway.
