- Engine oil and all fluid levels
- Battery condition and charge
- Brake responsiveness and pad wear
- Windshield wipers and washer fluid

Pack for Comfort, Safety, and Adventure
Road trip gear can be the key to a safe and enjoyable journey, especially with the Bronco’s versatile cargo space. Bring along these essentials:
- Phone charger and a backup navigation method
- First-aid kit
- Water and snacks for the trip
- Jumper cables or portable jump pack
- Flashlight with extra batteries
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Recovery gear such as traction boards, a tow strap, gloves, tire-pressure gauge, and portable air compressor if you plan to hit off-pavement trails
Plan for the Type of Trip
Tailor your preparation to the trip you’re planning. If you’ll be sticking mainly to highways, focus on maximizing comfort, scheduling fuel stops, and organizing your luggage for easy access. For those headed into the mountains, forests, or remote areas around Chattanooga, consider the driving terrain, weather forecasts, and ground clearance. Make sure your route is accessible and bring along recovery equipment if you expect to encounter rough or uneven surfaces.
