Here are some of the key features of each 2026 Explorer trim level:
  • Active 100A - 2.3L, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that provides 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, three-zone automatic climate control, power, heated sideview mirrors, and Normal, Sport, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, and Off-Road driving modes.
  • Active - A power liftgate, active noise cancellation, two third-row USB ports, first-row heated seats, and a 10-way power driver's seat.
  • ST-Line - Sporty design elements with added technology features, including LED fog lamps, black front and rear skid plates, a black grille, an Explorer badge on the hood, an ebony door with red stitching, a 360-degree camera with a split view, front parking sensors, and remote start.
  • Tremor - This new, off-road-focused model has rugged styling and capabilities. It has a suspension lift, Torsen limited-slip rear differential, and all-terrain tires. 
  • Platinum - BlueCruise hands-free highway driving, heated, ventilated, and massaging front-row leather seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and adaptive headlights.
  • ST - This performance-oriented trim level includes a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 motor that has 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, power-folding, heated side mirrors, and an auto-dimming driver's side mirror.
