Performance & Off-Road Capability
Every Bronco Sport comes standard with 4x4. Two turbocharged engines are available: a 1.5L EcoBoost I-3 with 181 horsepower, or a 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 with 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque, reserved for Badlands and Heritage Limited trims. Both engines pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. Modes (Goes Over Any Terrain) allows drivers to adjust settings for various surfaces. Five modes come standard: Normal, Sport, Slippery, Sand, and Eco, while Badlands trim adds Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl.
With its Twin-Clutch Rear Drive Unit and locking differential, the Badlands trim pushes traction further, while Trail Control simplifies slow, technical driving. Don't underestimate the Bronco, when properly equipped, the Bronco Sport can tow up to 2,700 pounds.
Interior Comfort & Features
The Bronco Sport comfortably seats five and features a safari-style roof that increases headroom and vertical cargo space. The rear seats fold flat to create a wide loading area, while the flip-up rear glass makes it easy to access gear quickly. An available Cargo Management System adds even more storage flexibility.
Tech is well integrated, with a touchscreen interface, SYNC 4 connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This vehicle also comes with an available 10-speaker B&O sound system.
On the safety front, Ford Co-Pilot360 offers driver-assist features, including Blind Spot Information System, Lane-Keeping System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.
