2017 Ford F-150
Serving Chattanooga, Nashville, and Dalton, TN
The Ford F-150 pickup has been the top selling vehicle for years. Its revolutionary military-grade aluminum build helped it pick up even more admirers as it lost weight and gained strength. The F-150 has been named a Kelley Blue Book Best Buy, and Ford has once again been named Top Truck Maker by U.S. News and World Report. The 2017 Ford F-150 builds on this progress, adding more features and more performance.
The all-new 2017 Limited is the most upscale F-150 ever. It wears a fancier grille, 22-inch wheels, and power-articulating running boards. Also new, the 2017 Raptor is the most capable ever. This off-roading expert is six inches wider than other Ford F-150 trucks. It has a new high-speed desert running capability as part of its six-function terrain management system. Suspension travel is enhanced by specialized Fox shocks and larger remote reservoirs.

Performance
Adding another industry first to its list, the 2017 Ford F-150 has the advantage of a ten-speed automatic transmission. Beating rivals by two to four gears, no other pickup truck has this capability. Narrower gear ratios certainly help every Ford powertrain make more out of its power outlay. It’s one of the reasons that Ford has been called the most fuel-efficient automaker. Next generation EcoBoost engines are another reason. These V-6 engines act like V-8s without the punishing fuel economy. The Gen2 3.5-liter Ecoboost twin turbo leads its class with 470 lb.-ft. of torque, a 50 lb.-ft. gain over last year’s model. It also kicks out 375 horsepower. The highest performing F-150 pickup can tow a maximum of 12,200 pounds when appropriately equipped.
Interior
Whether it’s the regular one-row cab or a two-row cabin, high quality materials are aboard, ready to stand the test of time and use. The luxurious Limited adds Mojave leather seats to a cabin trimmed with aluminum accents and genuine fiddleback eucalyptus wood. Drivers and front seat passengers enjoy cushioning that can be power-heated or cooled. Even the rear seats have power-heat. Best of all, the front row power chairs enjoy a multifunction massage capability. Ford's exclusive SuperCrew cabin has a flat rear floor for cargo.

Features
Ford’s next generation technology offers two ways to stay entertained. SYNC® AppLink utilizes voice recognition to control your smartphone audio streaming. SYNC® 3 adds more infotainment features including an eight-inch LCD touchscreen. SYNC® Connect adds connectivity, including FordPass to track vehicle location, a good tool for business fleets. It also lets the user lock, unlock, or start the truck.
Safety
Having earned top marks from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2017 Ford F-150 stands above some rivals, such as the Ram 1500, who have yet to make the coveted five stars. It is also ahead of all rivals with its recent “Top Safety Pick Plus” designation. Both two-row cab models earned this honor from the crash testers at the Insurance Institute. Drivers will appreciate a collision warning system, a lane watch, and cruise control with automatic braking. In addition, a blind spot monitor can make drivers aware of side traffic danger. The available 360-degree camera system really takes the uncertainty out of worksite maneuvers. Even better, Ford offers an exclusive dynamic trailer hitch assist.
