Performance

The Mustang offers a 3.7-liter V-6 engine that cranks out 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. For even better performance as well as even better fuel economy, the EcoBoost is a turbo four-cylinder engine. It kicks out 320 lb.-ft. of torque and 310 horsepower. Next up, the GT has a 5-liter V-8. This very competitive engine cranks out 436 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. With its flat-plane crankshift, the Shelby GT350 is a 526-horsepower, higher-revving supercharged machine with a racetrack-ready suspension. Every Mustang has rear-wheel drive for racy handling. Drivers control the action with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters.

Interior

Despite its ability to rip through the wind, the Mustang’s cabin is still peaceful at high speeds. The cabin’s most old-fashioned touch is its dual-cowl dashboard. The rest of the attitude is thoroughly modern. Push button start is standard across the line up. You can choose heated or cooled seats. Recaro® sport seats are also on the menu. Mustang enthusiasts will appreciate ambient lighting and a dual-zone climate system. The Color Accent package combines a charcoal black interior with special leather upholstery and door trim. A tilt-telescopic steering wheel and a power-adjusting chair offer a great way to get comfortable. There’s even a more generous trunk than most would expect. The convertible’s trunk measures 11.4 cu.ft. The 13.5 cu.ft. trunk has folding seatbacks to add even more space.

The Premium editions include standard adaptive cruise control and a forward collision warning. The blind-spot system adds a rear-cross traffic alert.
