The new 2015 Ford F-150 is the only full-sized pickup truck to be made with a military grade, aluminum-alloy body and a fully boxed steel frame. This innovation has decreased its weight by over 700 pounds while giving it an increased best-in-class towing capacity of 8,500 pounds, and fuel efficiency. The F-150's cab has been redesigned to deliver nearly twice the cargo volume in the first row of seating compared to the previous model, carry up to five passengers, and allow 170˚ swing-out doors on the SuperCab for simplified entry and exiting.
