2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Serving Chattanooga, Nashville, and Dalton, TN
Ford's Super Duty trucks have been around for quite some time, and although many competing models from other automakers have endured size trim-downs and slightly smaller engines, the F-250 series remains a true large-truck workhorse. Some folks might say that it's getting past its prime and needs a major overhaul, but the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty line of trucks is still very popular because of the enormous towing power, large bed, and huge array of trim and cab styles.
New for 2016 model is the LED warning strobes as well as a rearview camera prep kit that can be included with a package that deletes the cargo box. The F-250 remains one of the most rugged, well-built, and durable full-size pickups on the market, and buyers need to only choose the combination of trim and cab style that best fits their needs.

Performance
The standard engine on the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty truck is a 6.2L V8 that produces a total of 385 horsepower. If you need even more punch, you can go for the optional diesel V8, a 6.7L turbocharged job that packs a total of 440 horsepower and 860 ft-lb of torque. Six-speed automatic transmission is the only option, and all trims can be purchased with either rear- or all-wheel drive. When properly equipped, the F-250 Super Duty can tow more than 14,500 pounds, and when fitted with a gooseneck, the total jumps to nearly 17,000 pounds. The ride quality is excellent, and you'll notice that the cabin is quieter than most other large pickup trucks. The standard tow/haul mode is operated with a push of a button and automatically locks out the higher gears when descending steep hills.
Interior
Although there are plenty of cab styles and trim options on the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty, the list of standard interior features is impressive even on the base trim. You get standard air conditioning, vinyl upholstery, and a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel. The front bench seat is 40/20/40-split, and the lockable compartment beneath the seat is larger than what is found in many of the competing truck model cabs. If you step up to the XLT trim, you can enjoy cruise control, full power accessories, a carpeted floor, and a removable center seat section that opens up a console. The Lariat and King Ranch add on an eight-way power driver's seat, a wood-toned interior trim, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Go for the Premium trim and get upgraded interior accents and a heated steering wheel.

Features
Pickup trucks are built as work machines, but that doesn't mean sacrificing the latest in high-tech features. The uplevel F-250 Super Duty trucks come with an 8-inch touchscreen and trip computer, navigation system, a Sony audio system, and rearview camera. Rear parking sensors are also included on the Lariat, King Ranch, and Premium trims.
Safety
You'll feel safe in the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty line of trucks thanks to stability and traction control, trailer sway control, hill-start assist, and side-curtain airbags. The SOS post-crash alert system is also standard equipment. The XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Premium trims come with an integrated trailer brake controller. Braking distance is more than respectable for such a large truck. The F-250 Super Duty goes from 60 mph to a full stop in 129 feet.
